Illinois and Global Seals of Biliteracy

十大网赌平台推荐 offers junior and senior students the opportunity to attain the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy and the Global Seal of Biliteracy.

The Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy and the Global Seal of Biliteracy are awarded to students to certify that they are biliterate in English and one or more world languages. A biliterate person must be able to read, write, speak, and understand another language in addition to English at the intermediate high or greater proficient level.

World Language Honor Societies

The World Language Honor Societies at 十大网赌平台推荐 recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the study of Chinese, French, Latin, and Spanish. Each society is affiliated with its respective national organization: the National Chinese Honor Society (NCHS), the Société Honoraire de Français (SHF), the National Latin Honor Society (NLHS), and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH). Together, these organizations promote excellence in language learning while fostering deeper cultural understanding. Membership in these honor societies is by invitation, typically in the spring of sophomore or junior year.
