The Pack soundly defeated Jones-Payton Coop in the annual Windy City Showdown dual 116-70. Junior Connor Gunderson and Sophomore Leo Fallara kicked off the meet with a first and fourth place in diving—Gunderson’s score of 279.90 established a varsity team record. Senior Captain Carmine Fallara won the 200 free with Junior Christian Chora scoring second and Sophomore Will Rauch picking up fourth. Freshman Grant Robinson placed second in the 200 IM, with the Sophomore duo of Danny Scott and Andrew Arreola placing third and fourth. Junior Charlie Cali and Sophomore Kelton Szerlong split for first and third in the 50 freestyle. Senior Captain Alistair Guth and Cali picked up first and second in the 100 fly. Junior Lincoln Routier, Chora, and Freshman Max Grieb swept the 100 freestyle first through third. Scott and Arreola followed suit in the 500 freestyle for first and second. Grieb and Szerlong placed second and third in the 100 back. Fallara won the 100 breast, with Guth and Robinson placing third and fourth, respectively. Wolfpack relays placed second and third in the 200 medley relay, first and fourth in the 200 freestyle relay, and swept the first two spots in the 400 freestyle relay. The relay team of Grieb, Arreola, Robinson, and Scott established a new Fresh-Soph record in the 200 medley relay.
